Ultimately, businesses are just people.  The better the people in a business work together, the more successful the business will be. The better a business works with people in other businesses—clients, suppliers, networking contacts and so on—the more successful the business will be.

None of us, as individuals, is as successful in business as we could be—or want to be.  Why is this?  Even after dealing with any skills gaps, there is still a big residual area which needs to be addressed.

Any salesperson will confirm that people make buying decisions based on their feelings.  In fact, all decisions are based on feelings and, indeed, all behaviour is based on a mixture of beliefs and feelings.
